We are the Sessums family! We were born and raised right here in Dinwiddie County. We both grew up around farms and we longed for that life for our four children! In 2016 we bought our property in the western part of the county and that's where White Oak Wagyu was born...
ABOUT WHITE OAK WAGYU
While Baxter had dreamed of owning a cattle farm most of his life, it wasn't until he found Wagyu that he knew that this was the direction he wanted to go! It is our dream to bring this amazing beef to our area and to produce the best the area has to offer!
When we purchased the property, all that was here was the land. We built our farm from the ground up. The fences, the barn, and enclosures have all been built on our blood, sweat, and tears. This is a family business. Our kids know hard work! They are just as dedicated as we are to bringing you the best beef you have ever tasted!

Our cows are American Wagyu. Our bull is sired by BAR R SHIGESHIGETANI 30T. Our cows are born on the farm, pasture raised, grass fed, and grain finished. This gives our beef a unique marbling and flavor! We hope that you will give it a try. Once you do, we are confident you will return for more.
